Yes, we know the Twins locked in Justin Morneau and Michael Cuddyer for the next few years, but even bigger news is brewing out west.

The high road might lead to Oakland. Chris Mortenson over at ESPN.com is reporting that Minnesota’s own Lane Kiffin could be on his way out in Oakland. And, the best coach currently not in the NFL could be on his way back! That’s right; Denny Green might get hired in Oakland.

Please please please let this happen. We need Dennis Green back in the NFL. His consulting career was never meant to be – let’s just get him back on the sidelines where he belongs.
